Why bring your ATV or motorcycle to ATVelite for a dyno tune?
Our experienced tuners at ATV elite had over 20 years experience tuning
race engines in ATV's, Motocross, Road Racing and Karting, before the
Dynojet 250Xi was purchased.
Since then we have shaped our tuning skills on the Dynojet dyno and
retested them at the track to see how they relate to each other. We have
learned a lot from this and we use that knowledge to tune your bike.
After your dyno runs are completed, we will show you your bikes peak
horsepower and torque. You will also receive a dyno graph of the best
dyno run with the bikes tune and specifications listed on the printouts.
Sometimes, the customer has enough horsepower
and just wants it to be more usable or rideable.
This is where the power graph from a Dyno run is most useful, as any
dips or power surges can be seen on the computer monitor and a decision
made on the necessary engine or carburation adjustments that are
required.
After being warmed up to operating temperature, the
machines are run on the rolling road until a maximum initial mean
horsepower figure is given.
Then fine adjustments are carried out, if required, to optimise the
conditions in the sealed but well ventilated dyno room. Jetting,
ignition timing, compression settings are checked to ensure maximum
power.
Also, gearbox, chain and tyre pressure settings are checked, as these can
have a major affect on what horsepower finally reaches the track!
A machine can be booked in to be tested and setup according to the
customers requirements. A number of runs are performed to assess the
machines existing engine power output and the most logical and cost
effective way to improve it, if required.
